You say it's your birthday

 Well it's my birthday too!!!!
Today is my 33rd birthday. I wouldn't say it was one to fondly remember, my three boys and hubby are all sick so venturing out today wasn't in the cards... I dropped my cell phone in the toilet... after I had used it...

But enough about that! I'm here to show you the card I made tonight after all the chaos seemed to have ended.
I'm sure you'll have no problem believing that I haven't been doing this for very long. But I like this card anyway! There are a couple things that I did mess up on and I will definitely be more careful when I make this card again. The card stock I used is just the cheap craft store card stock, I have a Papertrey Ink order coming in and a Stampin' Up order too. I guess I'll just have to open my presents when they arrive in the mail later this week!
The stamp set I used is from Prima and they are great, I like them much better in person. It came with 27 stamps and are just the right size for card making. I can't wait to use the tree, I'm thinking some white embossing powder on a dark color background!!! I used a cat eye set of inks from Martha Stewart Crafts, and while I really like the ink, nice and pigmented the packaging is really bad, they stack on top of each other and I have a really hard time getting them to stay together. If they are in my ink pad box they always seem to fall apart. I bought the pink ATG at Michael's the Saturday after Thanksgiving it was $19.99 and I had a coupon for 20% off entire purchase... I like it I think, I have a hard time controlling it. I think it is meant to be used more by scrapbookers who need to run more adhesive at time. I like my little Tombo Mono runner just fine! Red sparkly Stickles I bought at my local one stop shopping grocery store. They have a decent craft section and I bought a bunch for just over a buck a piece!
