I have a friend who just had surgery and is having a hard time recovering. I thought I could make and send her a "Get well soon" card and help brighten her day a bit. The making part is easy, it's remembering to send it out in the mail that is the tricky part
I cut the card base using Stampin' Up's Crumb Cake card stock to make a standard size card. I used some papers from My Minds Eye's "the sweetest thing" collection, cut down to 1" and 1/2" strips and arranged them in rows. I used one of the prints and cut out Spellbinder's Big Scalloped Ovals SM. I used a sentiment from SU's "Delightful Dozen" stamp set and stamped it using Calypso Coral on "Very Vanilla" both from SU! and used the die in the next size down to cut out that layer. I used dimentionals to pop it off the card and adhered it to the front of the card.
It turned out to be bright and cheery and I hope brings a bit of sunshine to her days of recovery. Thanks for stopping by!
