My Stamp-N-Storage ink pad unit
Good morning my fellow crafters! We are experieceing a morning of bright and almost warm sunshine today! I think it is putting everyone in town in a good mood after months of wet misery... Lol!!!
I just wanted to do a review on the Stamp-N-Storage 60 ink pad storage unit I purchased last month. My hubby and I have been slowly adding storage and organizing my craft room. I asked him if he could make me something similar to this, and while he is skilled enough to, he thought it would cost the same and take longer for him to make it than it would be to just purchase one. So that is what I did. I bought the 60 slot unit knowing that I would rather have one that I can add to than one that would fit all the ink pads that I have at the moment. Also, this company offers free shipping and had the best prices out of all the companies I looked at. It was just over a dollar per space! It takes up little space on my desk and is narrow enough that I can set my cutting mat in front of it to have all my ink pads at an arms reach. We will be putting a couple Lerberg CD/DVD case storage units from Ikea right above it on the wall to hold most of my stamp sets, no more digging through a box to find the stamps I want.
The slots fit almost all the brands and styles of ink pads I have except for one. For some reason my Colorbox Chestnut Roan chalk ink is too fat to fit. My other Colorbox inks fit just fine. I only own the one chalk ink so I don't know if that is typical of the ink pads.... but all my Stampin' Up!, Tim Holtz Distress inks, VersaMark and my other Colorbox inks fit just fine! I love it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a way to better store their ink pads. They also have other units to hold your ink pads, markers and refills but since I don't have many Stampin' Up! markers or refills I didn't need to get that style.
Stamp-N-Storage also has paper, ribbon, and other styles of storage units to choose from!
