|Trick or Treat|
Even though Halloween is still more than a month away, I couldn't wait to share with you the card I made this afternoon.
The images and sentiment came from a Recollections set from last year. It has a handful of children dressed up in different costumes, a bat, pumpkins etc., with a couple sentiments, it was too cute to pass up! I bought the stamp set mainly to practice Copic coloring. All of the images are line drawings and there aren't too many details that I could mess up.

I used Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the little pumpkin girl on PTI's Stampers Select white card stock and used Copics to color her in. It was a bit tricky to cut her out but a trick I learned from Kristina Werner is to take a black marker and ink the edges of the image, it hides any little mistakes you may have had while cutting.

Everything was popped up on some Stampin' Dimensionals, my favorite dimensional adhesive.
I also bought some of the clearance paper pads last year from K& Company, "KP Halloween Designer paper pad". It matches the stamps pretty nicely and it's also very cute! I cut banners in different sizes and styles, a background and a sentiment were cut to size then inked with Black Soot Distress ink

I made a card (scroll to the bottom of that post, it's the last card) similar to this last Christmas with the banners below the image and sentiment. I like how it turned out and hope to find some more fun images to color for Halloween and the upcoming holidays. I would love to hear what you are working on this week!
