45 years ago my mom and dad said "I do" and "till death us do part". If you listen to my mom tell the story you will know that they were married after less than 6 months of dating...
and that was after the need to delay it... twice!
They started dating in December and were married the next May . A small wedding, held in the chapel on Eglin Air Force base in Florida.
Aren't they just the cutest? I love looking at photos of them before I was born, almost 10 years later...
Little words but words when said together mean Forever & Always. 45 years is a long time by most standards and it is no small feat! I remember my parents kissing in the kitchen and thinking that they were being gross... Now it's fun to kiss my own hubby and hear my kids say yuck!
Today's card is the anniversary card I made for them this year. I absolutely love the Apothecary Art stamp set and the matching dies. It's floral and elegant and really suitable for giving on special occasions. I chose Pacific Point as the main color but added a pop of Crushed Curry in the Chevron ribbon. I added a touch of texture on top of the base to the card using the Modern Mosaics embossing folder.
