Unique Blog Hop – What Inspires Me

I was asked by my friend Valentina from Kookies Paper Creations to take part in a Unique Blog Hop! As part of the HOP I was asked a series of questions to kinda give you an idea of who I am and why I do what I do.

1.  What am I working on?
I am working on lots of fall and Halloween themed projects. I have my "Stamping School" on  the second Monday of the month and I wanted to have a varriety of cards to teach to my class.

2.  How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I really love a vintage look. I find beauty in the scruffed up and distressed projects. I am a big fan of Tim Holtz and the design team for Graphic 45.

3.  Why do I write/create what I do?
It is a wonderful challenge to take papers and embellishments and make something beautiful with it. CASEing a card or project is a great way to take an idea and make it yours. I love looking at cards and being able to tell who made it based on the style of card.

4.  How does your writing/creative process work?
Lots of trial and error, LOL!!! That is part of the fun, trying out something new, figuring out how to get the look you want or deciding that it isn't what you thought or wanted and changing it to make it pleasing it to look at. Cutting, glueing and coloring in an assortment of colors until I'm satisfied. I rarely get it right on the first go.

Happy Stamping,
